Working on blocks

I know a post without photos is not as fun to read but I can't find my camera cord right now.  I have a zillion cords and can't find the right one. 

I have been working on my red and white blocks and they are coming along.  I think I will really like this quilt when it is finished.  It has two seperate blocks in it, a snail's trail and a star within a star block. 

First Post!!

Today I decided to start a quilting blog!  I thought I would try it and see how it goes.  I am a housewife that loves to quilt.  I have lurked on other quilters blogs for months but finally decided to start my own.  Wonder if anyone will read it???? :)  I guess we will see.

Late last night I started cutting out a new quilt.  It will be a graduation gift for my oldest son, so I still have until June 2011 before I have to have it finished.  I will probably work on it between other projects along the way.  I will post a photo of it later (when I find the camera).  It is red and white, I love those colors together.
